Wait a minute...did I just hear the narrator say to heat the film to 350 C? And that that's equal to about 90 deg F?? Yes I did. It must be a mistake, because you'd absolutely melt the film at 350 C and the paint too.
Ron, he said set the temp of the heat gun to 350. That's why the thermometer was shown at the same time with the film temp approx 90-100, not enough to melt either.

Dude stuck a 250+ degree heat gun in between his legs?!
The only part of that gun that is hot is the metal end piece. The plastic parts are not hot. Use some common sense before you speak!

What kind of idiot will punch the film with a knife ?! Search google for 3M Air Release Tool.....
Air realease tool has sharp tip too and it can make a mark on the paint. You should be able to work the film without any bubbles, or push the air out with a thumb if you get some.
